Purpose

The report will seek Cabinet approval to opt into the YPO - DPS II 1198 framework to complete a further competition for the provision of the corporate insurance contract for Newcastle City Council, Subsidiaries and North East Museums.

This report will also seek delegated authority to award a contract to the successful supplier of the tender which will be completed with the support of Marsh Insurance Brokers for the provision of the corporate insurance contract for Newcastle City Council, Subsidiaries and North East Museums.
