Purpose

To seek approval to introduce a new event decision-making process, based on the SAG (Safety Advisory Group) matrix currently used by Regulatory Services. The aim is to provide a consistent, proportionate, and risk-based framework for managing events which score 30 or less on the Events Decision Matrix.

Decision

To approve the Events decision-making process for the Parks Events team, and to allow authorised officers to issue and complete template land licences and event contracts for events and activities which score 30 or less on the Events Decision Matrix, without the need of a DD.
