Purpose

To seek a delegated decision to advertise and make a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close sections of highway to facilitate the Great North 5k and the Mini Great North Run Event on 11th September - 12th September 2026.

Decision

Authorise that the Traffic Regulation Order described in the attached report be advertised and made.
