Purpose

To seek a delegated decision to advertise and make a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to restrict parking on the verge, footway and carriageway during the Newcastle Round Table Fireworks 2026 event.

Decision

The decision maker (The Assistant Director of Transport) is recommended to make a Delegated Decision authorising the Temporary Traffic Regulation Order described in the report to be advertised and made.
