The Cabinet approved recommendations for the North East Combined Authority Excellence in Education Programme on 18 March 2025. The programme will receive an indicative funding allocation of £5,000,000 from the Investment Fund over three years. Authority is delegated to the Chief Executive for implementation, including commencing procurement activity and awarding contracts.
