award contracts for consultancy and construction services to
provide suitable foundation and fixings for Ashby Christmas
Tree.

To grant approval for NLC to enter into
contracts for consultancy and contractor services.

Alternative options considered

To reject the approval for NLC to enter into
contracts for consultancy and contractor services. This option
would mean that the project would not be delivered and therefore
the newly purchased Christmas Tree will not be used and will not
align with NLC’s priorities and values of creating pride of
place and community.
