Purpose

1. take all necessary steps to acquire, by agreement wherever possible, all land interests required in relation to the identified derelict and problematic sites;

2. where voluntary acquisition cannot be achieved, undertake all necessary preparatory work to enable the Authority to consider the use of its compulsory purchase powers, subject to any future Cabinet approval required;

3.work with appropriate delivery partners to bring forward the comprehensive residential redevelopment of the sites.
