Decision

The date for the repayment of the loan by Brierley Homes is extended to 31st March 2031 in line with the five year operating plan for the Company as highlighted to Executive as part of the outturn report on 26 May 2026.

Reasons for the decision

Repaying the loan in line with the agreed timeline of 31st March 2028 is not achievable under the updated future financial forecasts of Brierley Homes and therefore, it has been recommended by the Corporate Director, Resources that the deadline date for the repayment of the loan to Brierley Homes is extended to 31st March 2031.
