RESOLVED that:
Holywell Village First School Kitchen
Cabinet approve the expenditure of £0.076 million in 2026-27 for a new kitchen within the current Holywell First School building. The spend will be funded £0.063 million from Council resources from the existing Holywell School Kitchen project in the capital programme and a £0.013 million contribution from the school;
Residential Homes for Children Programme – Complex Needs Main Home
a) Cabinet approve the expenditure of £2.134 million in 2026-27 for the purchase and development of Fairwinds in Ulgham. The spend will be funded from a combination of £0.458 million Council resources from the existing Residential Homes for Children project in the capital programme and external funding of £1.676 million from the Department for Education; and
b) Cabinet grant delegated authority to the Executive Director of Children, Young People and Education to purchase the proposed property at a cost of £1.343 million.
Hartford Bridge Traveller Site – Kitchen Refurbishment
Cabinet approve the expenditure of £0.044 million in 2026-27 for phase 2 of the Hartford Bridge Travellers Site Kitchen Refurbishment project which will include the replacement of 7 kitchens. The spend will be funded from Council resources from the existing Hartford Bridge Travellers Site Kitchen Refurbishment project in the capital programme.
