About
The Health Scrutiny Committee is a politically balanced, non-executive committee responsible for scrutinising health matters within Nottingham. It examines the Council's public health functions and other health-related issues, as required by legislation including the Localism Act 2011 and the NHS Act 2006. The committee's role is to provide oversight and make recommendations on health services and policies affecting local residents.
