Purpose

This report seeks delegated approval to
appoint a design consultant to undertake design services associated
with the Denshaw Bridge refurbishment scheme; to carry out 30 no.
general inspections and to prepare a scour risk register.

Content

RESOLVED - That:
1. To approve the Denshaw Bridge refurbishment design, general
inspections and scour risk register project; and
2. To approve the direct award of WSP UK Ltd via the TfGM
Professional Services 2021 Framework Agreement, Sub-Lot 7L: Highway
Asset and Network Management Professional Services and for the
Council to enter into a call-off contract with WSP UK Ltd under the
Framework Agreement.
