Purpose
Oldham Council has successfully secured grant
in aid (GiA) of £13,000 from the Environment Agency for a
Flood and coastal erosion risk management (FCERM) project to
undertake quick-win remedial works on the Town Centre Police
Station to rectify ground water penetration to the building
following demolition of the adjacent Magistrates Court
building.

RESOLVED - That: Accept grant funding of
£13,000 from the Environment Agency, approve a Council
contribution of £529.94 and approve the modification of a
call-off contract under the Accessible Oldham Strategic Partnering
Agreement for the Growth Deal 3 Programme of Works to enable Rowan
Ashworth to complete the works as soon as possible to limit any
potential damage to Police evidence room, items or premise.
