Decision

DECISION

(a)  That the current position regarding recruitment, retention and vacancies within Children's Services be noted.

(b)  That the findings of the April and July 2026 Market Supplement Reviews be noted.

(c)  That workforce stability being a critical enabler of the Children's Services Medium Term Service Plan and wider transformation programme, be noted.

(d)  That the continued implementation of workforce initiatives aimed at reducing agency reliance, strengthening recruitment and enhancing long-term workforce sustainability, be noted.

(e)  That future opportunities for scrutiny and performance monitoring be identified by the Committee when necessary.
