DECISION
(a) That the position in relation to, and the potential closures of, the toilets in Carew, Newport (The Parrog) and Neyland be noted, and that, in the absence of an agreement reached to the satisfaction of the Cabinet Member, the closure of the toilets at Neyland and Carew with effect from 30 November 2026 and Newport (The Parrog) with effect from 31 March 2027 be approved.
(b) That a task and finish group, comprising the Cabinet Member for Residents’ Services, the Public Realm Manager, the Local Member and Newport Town Council, be established to progress and conclude the process relating to Newport (The Parrog) at the earliest opportunity.
(c) That a strategic asset review for all toilets that are provided by the Authority be supported.
(d) That a further report regarding Tenby North beach toilets be brought to Cabinet in early 2027 with a business case for proposed changes.
(e) That a further report and business case regarding Castle Lake toilets be brought to Cabinet in early 2027.
Reason for Decision: To address the current Financial Budget Issues and to support management of toilet services.
