Purpose

To approve the establishment of a Local Plan Member Working
Group.

Reasons for the decision

It is recommended that a Local Plan Member Working Group is
established to ensure that Members are kept fully informed
throughout the Local Plan preparation process. The group will
assist in the development of the new Local Plan.

Alternative options considered

The alternative option of not establishing a Local Plan Member
Working Group was considered and rejected, as it is important to
ensure cross party input into the development of the Local Plan and
that Members are kept fully informed throughout the process.
