Purpose

Approve commencement of a review
of the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Minerals and Waste Local
Plan for Peterborough, working jointly with Cambridgeshire County
Council, and approval of the Local Development Scheme (LDS) which
sets out the timetable for production of the Minerals and Waste
Plan.

Cabinet?resolved to:

 

1.    
Approve commencement of a review
of the Minerals and Waste Local Plan for Peterborough.

2.    
Approve the Local Development
Scheme (LDS), which sets out a timetable for the production of the
Peterborough Local Plan and a Minerals and Waste Local Plan, to
come into effect on 18 April 2025.

3.    
Delegate authority to the
Executive Director, Place and Economy to make minor alterations and
updates and republish the Peterborough LDS.
