Decision

The Cabinet:

1.    
Approved the award of a contract
to Action for Children (registered under company number 04764232)
to deliver care services commencing on 24 June 2025 for a total
term of 7 years (initial term of 3 years with an option to extend
for 2 years then a further 1 year and for another 1 year (3+2+1+1);
for an approximate cost of up to £1,560,000 per annum for
care of an individual with complex needs either in a care home or
supported living accommodation;

2.    
Delegated approval to the
Executive Director of Adults, Health and Commissioning:

a.    
to agree an uplift (per annum) of
the contract value in line with the Council’s uplift
strategy; and

b.    
to agree to increase / decrease
price to reflect the required level of care.
