Purpose

 Approval to amend the Community Infrastructure
Levy (CIL) Infrastructure Charging Schedule pooling
arrangements.

Decision

The Cabinet approved the revised
CIL Governance Arrangements so that:

 

1.    
The Strategic portion of CIL
income received from the date of approval of the revised governance
arrangement be pooled to a single pot to be allocated by the
Capital Board to fund projects in accordance with the
Council’s capital spending priorities.

2.    
The process for managing the
Neighbourhood Portion of CIL for non-parished areas is updated to
improve access to these funds for community supported
projects.
