Purpose

This decision is fully exempt.

Decision

This report and its appendix are
exempt from publication in accordance with Paragraphs 3 and 5 of
Schedule 12A of Part 1 to the Local Government Act 1972 because
they relate to the financial and business affairs of the Council
and contain information in respect of which a claim to legal
professional privilege could be maintained in legal proceedings.
The public interest test has been applied to the information
contained within the report and its appendix and it is considered
that the need to retain the information as exempt outweighs the
public interest in disclosing it. 

 

With approval from the Deputy
Monitoring Officer and the Chair of the Sustainable Future City
Council scrutiny committee, the urgency procedures have been
invoked to waive the 3-day call-in period
