Purpose

Approval to enter into a
collaboration agreement with a landowner and disposal of site for
residential development. 

Decision

Cabinet:

 

1.    
Agreed the site to be declared
surplus to requirements. 

 

2.    
Authorised the Council to enter
into a collaboration agreement with Milton (Peterborough) Estates
Company to bring forward the site for
development. 

 

3.    
Authorised the council to market
the site by informal tender on the open market and to invite offers
over the Summer. 

 

4.    
Noted a future report will be
presented to Cabinet once the outcome of the marketing exercise is
known. 

 

5.    
Approved the budget set out within
the report. 

 

6.    
Delegated authority to the
Executive Director for Place and Economy, in consultation with the
Executive Director for Corporate Services, the Director of Law and
Governance, and the Cabinet Member for Finance and Corporate
Governance to take all necessary steps to facilitate the
final decision, including approving the final disposal heads of
terms and entering into any necessary
agreements.
