Purpose

Approval is sought to award
providers onto the Children's External Placements, Education &
Tuition (CEPET) Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) Contract, which
encompasses Independent Fostering Agency (IFA), Residential
Children's Homes, Independent Special Education Provisions (ISEP),
Out of School Tuition (OoST) & Alternative Provision & Post
16 Alternative Provision. The contract commences on 1st September
2025, for a term of four years, extendable by two additional
two-year periods (maximum of eight years).

Decision

Cabinet:

1.    
Approved that the successful
providers are awarded a place on the contract) commencing on 1st
September 2025 for an initial contract period of four (4) years;
with an option to extend, up to four years (by two (2) extension
periods, each extension period for two (2) years), and for
Peterborough City Council to spend up to £267,162,311 over
the 8 year period. It must be noted that there is no guarantee of
spend under this contract; the aforementioned amount represents an
absolute maximum, rather than a commitment.

1.

Delegated approval to the
Executive Director of Children’s Services to make all
necessary arrangements in relation to the contract.
