Purpose

 Extension of the current contract to deliver
Peterborough Children's Centres service.

Decision

Cabinet approved funding for the
2-year contract extension period within the Barnardo’s
Services Ltd contract, of £1,099,370.50 per extension year,
between 18 January 2026 to 17 January 2028.  This is to continue the delivery of
Peterborough’s Children’s Centre service, a statutory
function local authorities are required to
provide.
