Purpose

To award the contract for the Community Smoking Cessation Service to Greater Peterborough Network for a period of 2 years with an optional extension of up to 1 year, starting on 1st November 2025, and a maximum total value of £582,216.

This decision has been taken under:

Express authorisation:

1.      Cabinet authorised the delegated authority to the Director of Public Health to award the contract for provision of smoking cessation services for a period of 2 years plus 1 year possible extension, commencing on 1st November 2025, following a Provider Selection Regime further competition, with a total value of £582,216,  as set out in recommendation 3 of this report: Decision - Recommissioning of adult behaviour change services – JULY25/CAB/14 | Peterborough City Council
