Purpose

To provide Cabinet with an
overview of the council’s financial performance for 2025/26,
as at the end of quarter 1 (30 June 2025). 

Decision

Cabinet resolved to:

 

1.    
Consider the financial forecast
for 2025/26, as at Quarter 1.

 

2.    
Recommend to Council for approval,
the Flexible Use of Capital Receipts Policy as set out in Appendix
D to the report and delegation to the Executive Director of
Corporate Service (s151) to take the necessary steps to implement
the policy.

 

3.    
Recommend to Council for approval,
the amendments to the Capital Programme as set out in Appendix E to
the report.

 

4.    
Approve the use of reserves as set
out in Appendix F to the report.
