Purpose

This report provides Cabinet with
an overview of the council’s financial performance for
2025/26, as at the end of quarter 2 (30 September
2025). 

Decision

Cabinet RESOLVED
to:

 

1.    
Consider the financial forecast
for 2025/26, as at Quarter 2.

 

2.    
Approve the proposed Innovation
Fund Reserve commitments as set out in section 6 of the
report.

 

3.    
Recommend to Full Council the
approval of the updated Budget Virement Policy (set out in Appendix
C of the report) to allow the incorporation of new grants within
the revenue and capital budgets during the year.
