Purpose

To approve the expenditure
relating to the Local Youth Transformation Pilot. This is a grant
funding from DCMS, to improve the youth sector infrastructure to
enhance and increase youth provision.

Decision

Cabinet RESOLVED
to:

 

1.    
(a) Retrospectively Approve
application for this grant and (b) Approve acceptance of this grant
in line with the grant terms issued by the DCMS, to deliver the
pilot as detailed within the body of this report.

 

2.    
Note that an amendment to the
revenue budget and the capital programme will take place to
recognise the funding and expenditure associated with this grant
and will be reported as part of the next BCR report to
Cabinet.

 

3.    
Approve delegated authority to the
Executive Director Children and Young People's in consultation with
the Executive Director for Corporate Services and the Monitoring
Officer to approve all expenditure related to the Local Youth
Transformation Pilot grant (as set out within the six workstreams
set out at paragraph 2.5 of this report).
