Purpose

Peterborough City Council (PCC)
intends to vary its Strategic Blue contract to allow Amazon Connect
services to be commissioned on behalf of another local authority.
This will be formalised through a Memorandum of Agreement between
PCC and the other local authority, clarifying roles and
responsibilities.  

 

The variation is permitted under
procurement rules where additional services from the original
supplier are needed and cannot be easily replaced. The contract
value remains unchanged at the original value with Strategic
Blue 

  

Early action means the Council
should benefit from 20% discount on all services procured via this
route. The products they are requiring are the same as we currently
procure and will be approx 100k P.A 

 

Decision

Cabinet RESOLVED
to:

 

1. Authorise the variation to the
Council’s existing contract with Strategic Blue Services
Limited for the reasons set out in the report; and

 

2. Authorise the Council to enter
into a delegation agreement with Cambridgeshire County Council
relating to the commissioning of the services from this
arrangement.
