Purpose

To approve the Consolidated Active
Travel Fund. This is grant funding, via CPCA, to support active
travel initiatives in Peterborough.

to;

 

1.    
(a) Approve acceptance of the
grant and (b) approve the Council/relevant officers to enter into a
Grant Funding Agreement/s with Cambridgeshire and Peterborough
Combined Authority (CPCA) in respect of the £1,138,537
awarded to the active travel schemes listed below.

 

2.    
Note that an amendment to the
Capital Programme will take place to recognise the funding and
expenditure associated with this grant and will be reported as part
of the next BCR report to Cabinet.

 

3.    
Approve the award of works to M
Group (Services) Limited, under the existing Peterborough Highways
Term Service Contract for the following schemes and contract
amount(s) subject to the completion of the associated Grant Funding
Agreement/s:

 

• Stanham Way Cycleway -
£275,000

• Bourges Boulevard Cycleway
- £663,537

• Peterborough Station
Quarter Citylink - £200,000
