to:

Note the contents of the
report;

2.    
Confirms, having considered the
matters set out in this report, that the Council respond to the
Government Letter indicating a view that the Council’s Local
Elections in May 2026 should be postponed as postponement would
release essential capacity to deliver LGR; and

3.    
Agrees that the Leader provides a
response to the Government Letter by the deadline, reflecting the
key points of the report and discussion at the extraordinary
meeting of Cabinet indicating a view in line in resolution
2.
