Purpose

Award of contract to Alliance
Leisure Ltd for the production of RIBA stage 3 and 4 reports in
connection with the new swimming pool/leisure complex.

Decision

Cabinet RESOLVED
to:

 

1.    
Note the financial implications of
this report and the planned inclusion of Full
Funding for this Project as part of the 2026/27 budget setting
process (including the Government Grant of
£20m). 

 

2.    
Recommend to Full Council to
approve the addition of £2,195,000 to the Capital Programme in 2025/26 for the purposes of RIBA Stage 3 & 4 as set out in section 5.2 of this report.   

 

3.    
Note that Alliance Leisure
Services have been procured through the “UK Leisure
Framework”. 

 

4.    
Subject to Full Council approving
that budget, authorise the award of a contract to
Alliance Leisure Services Limited (ALS) for an initial contract value of
£1,800,432.91 and a further a 7.5% contingency of this amount, and any additional planning and highway
consultancy fees as set out within section 5.4, should this be required.
