Purpose

Approval is sought to give
delegated authority to the Executive Director for Children and
Young People Services, to determine and authorise grant funding
received from the Department of Education to service providers to
deliver the Holiday Activities and Food Programme.

Delegated authority to the
Executive Director, Children and Young People’s Service to
award grant funding to providers to deliver of the Holiday Activity
and Food Programme, over the Easter, Summer and Christmas holidays
for the periods 2026/2027, 2027/2028 and 2028/2029 within the
financial limits of £1,231,700 (for 2026/2027),
£1,184,400 (for 2027/2028) and £1,184,500 (2028/2029)
respectively, and as detailed in paragraph 2.6.
