Purpose

To allow the short-term letting of
unit 9 –15 Bridge Street at a rent that exceeds the
£250,000 aggregate rental threshold when assessed over the
possible period of occupation.  

 

To review the background and
reasons taking in reaching the decision to permit the letting of this property in
accordance to the terms given. 

 

Decision

Cabinet RESOLVED to:

1.    
Review the background information
leading to a decision to recommend approval of a new Tenancy at
Will for the site.

2.    
Note the circumstances that
require the letting at the proposed rent (i.e. less than best) to
progress.

3.    
Approve the Surrender of the
current lease and the grant of a Tenancy at Will on the terms set
out in the Exempt Annex
