Purpose

To provide Cabinet with an update on the latest Medium Term Financial Strategy, setting out up to date assumptions, latest projections, the strategic direction and approach to budget setting.
 

Decision

Cabinet RESOLVED to:
1. Consider the update on the Council’s Medium-Term Financial Strategy 2027–2030 position and the overall financial resilience resulting from the modelling.
2. Approve the launch of the 2027/28 Budget Consultation from 27 October 2026 for a period of six weeks.
