About

The Cleveland Police and Crime Panel provides a forum for public participation in discussions related to policing and crime. Members of the public can ask questions on agenda items, subject to certain restrictions, with a total of 15 minutes allocated for public questions at each meeting. Questions not addressed during the meeting will receive a written response. The Panel's remit includes referring issues to the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) for Cleveland, who is responsible for representing community interests, holding the Chief Constable accountable, setting policing priorities and budgets, and commissioning crime services.
