About

The Crustacean Deaths Collaborative Working Group is an informal forum established by partner councils to coordinate a joint response to the mass mortality of crustaceans that occurred in late 2021.

Its aims include considering evidence to understand the causes and impacts of the event on local communities, and reviewing partner responses. The group makes recommendations to partner authorities and government agencies, potentially informing future investigations into the issue.
