About

The Shareholder Committee monitors the performance of Veritau Tees Valley Ltd and Redcar and Cleveland Legal Services Ltd against their business plans and overall company performance. It evaluates and monitors these companies through periodic and annual reports.

The committee also considers matters requiring shareholder approval from the Council, as outlined in the companies' Articles of Association or Shareholder Agreements. Its functions are further detailed in Annex A of the Council's Constitution.
