Purpose

Proposal to assist Registered Providers to
deliver affordable housing.

Decision

RESOLVED –
that the Executive agrees to Recommend to Full Council to:
 
(i)            
Approve a budget of £2.5 million of Capital Reserves to be
used to support the delivery of affordable housing in the borough,
and
(ii)          
Delegate authority to the Head of Housing and Intervention to
approve expenditure of the £2.5 million of Capital Reserves
to support the delivery affordable housing by Registered Providers
in consultation with the Portfolio for Housing and Support and
Chief Finance Officer.
