Programme

The Cabinet considered
a report of the Director of Corporate Services
which sought to update on the Corporate Transformation
Programme and the financial and non
financial benefit that the programme was delivering.
 
The Assistant Director
Assistant Director Digital, ICT and Transformation was in attendance to present the information and to
address the questions and the comments of the Cabinet Members and
of the Leader of the Conservative Group.
 
Resolved that the
recommendations outlined at point two of the report be approved.
 
Reason for
decision:
To continue the
Council’s Transformation activity to help deliver the MTFS,
deliver improved services to residents and maximise the use of
existing resources through improved technology.
 
Alternatives
considered and rejected:
Not to have a
transformation programme. This would potentially negatively
impact on the Council’s ability to
improve services to residents, make the best use of existing
resources and deliver targeted savings contributing to achieving a
balanced budget.
