The Cabinet considered a report of the
Director of Economy and Place, which sought to update on the work
to date on the Station Gardens development. The report also sought
approval of key changes to the development scheme, in view of
Rochdale’s Interim Housing Strategy, and of the commencement
of the delivery phase.
 
The Head of Regeneration and
Development and the Senior Project Officer, Rochdale Development
Agency, were in attendance to present the information and to
address the questions and the comments of those present.
 
Resolved:

1.   
 That the recommendations listed in section two
of the report be agreed;

2.   
That the recommendation 2.5 be read “in consultation with the
Portfolio Holder for Environment and Climate Change and with the
Portfolio Holder for Housing and Regeneration”.
