Cabinet considered a report of the Director of Corporate Services seeking approval to commence the procurement exercises for the Council's insurance programme, which needs to be in place from 1st June 2027.

The Portfolio Holder for Finance and Growth introduced the report.

The Deputy Chief Finance Officer (Interim) presented the report and responded to questions and comments from Cabinet Members.

Cabinet noted that the procurement exercise was required to ensure that appropriate insurance arrangements were in place from 1st June 2027.

Resolved that the recommendations set out in section two of the report be agreed.
