Purpose

To approve the procurement through a compliant route to market of various IT equipment as part of the annual refresh of IT end user equipment consisting of laptop, monitors and desktop devices for use by council officers, elected members and public use equipment funded through already apportioned capital funding.

Decision

Cabinet considered a report of the Director of Corporate Services which sought approval to undertake the procurement of IT End User Equipment for the period 2026 to 2028, ensuring the continued provision of equipment to support service delivery across the Council.

The Portfolio Holder for Corporate, Governance and Transformation introduced the report. The Head of ICT and Digital presented the report and responded to questions and comments from Cabinet Members.

Resolved that the recommendations contained within section two of the report be agreed.
