About
The Conduct Committee is responsible for promoting and maintaining high standards of conduct among Rutland Council Members and parish councillors. It assists councillors in adhering to the Council's code of conduct, advises on its adoption or revision, and monitors its operation. The committee assesses and determines complaints of code breaches, grants dispensations for interests, and reviews codes related to ethics and probity for both officers and members. It also considers external reports on conduct standards and makes recommendations to the Council.
