Purpose

To approve a payment plan to enable the
Community Infrastructure Levy
chargeable amount to be paid over a 12 month period ending 31st
March 2026due to the exceptional financial circumstances of the
liable party for this CIL case.

Decision

Following the decision a payment plan will be
put in place to enable payment of the chargeable amount of
£29,970.44 in full over a 12-month period ending 31st March
2026.

Alternative options considered

There are a number of enforcement options
available under the CIL regulations including issuing a warning of
a stop notice and issuing of a stop notice however a stop notice
could be subject to an appeal and would not guarantee the
collection of the full chargeable amount. There would also be
significant legal and administration costs involved in this
process. Therefore, as the liable party has agreed to pay the full
chargeable amount in instalments over a 12-month period ending 31st
March 2026, I recommend approval of a payment plan to be created
for payments on agreed dates with the last payment to be made on
31st March 2026.
