Purpose

S106 funding to support the project with
£170,000 to enable the expansion of the provision from 30 to
33 places.

Decision

To support the project with a sum of
£170,000.00 from S106 contributions. The transfer of funds
will be subject to the receipt of a signed grant agreement.

Alternative options considered

The alternative option would be to not support
funding for this project. There is funding available from unspent
S106 agreements and no other project coming forward to take
advantage of this at present. There is a risk that unspent S106
monies would need to be re-paid to developers in due course.
