Purpose

The project will provide the following,
aligned to the S106 priority ‘recreation, sport and
leisure’:

• Install new information and welcome boards
• Install new bench seat and table
• Install car park surrounds

Decision

To support the project with the sum of
£2,420.00 from S106 contributions.
Following the decision £2,420.00 will remain allocated to
this project for an 18 month period. The transfer of funds will be
subject to the receipt of a signed grant agreement, project plan
and confirmed start date for the works.

Alternative options considered

The alternative option would be to not support
funding for this project. There is funding available from unspent
S106 agreements and no other project coming forward to take
advantage of this at present. There is a risk that unspent S106
monies would need to be re-paid to developers in due course.
