Purpose

To formalise the arrangement for the disposal
of inert waste from the County’s HWRCs. The arrangement is
expected to end in March 2028 once the integrated waste management
contract goes live.

Decision

Due to a previous disposal point no longer
accepting inert waste, we have sourced an alternative. There are
two providers within a reasonable travelling distance of Rutland
that could provide this disposal service and Biffa offered the
cheapest price.
