To approve the Waste and Enforcement Policy

Decision

The Waste Policy was last formally approved in
2013. The document was updated in 2021 with the intention that it
would form part of the Integrated Waste Management Procurement.
This procurement was delayed due to Covid and the resultant
contract extensions. Therefore, the updated policy was not formally
approved.

An updated policy is required to ensure the provision of a fair and
consistent service, to ensure best practice and to define expected
standards. The policy provides a clear overview of the services
provided by the Council, ensuring residents understand what is
expected of them and what they can expect to receive from the
Council.
