About

The Overview and Scrutiny Board provides independent oversight of Salford City Council's services, decisions, and performance. It reviews the work of the council, Cabinet, and partner organisations, developing policy recommendations. The Board can request that certain executive decisions be reconsidered before implementation. It leads scrutiny of corporate and cross-cutting issues such as finance, performance, value for money, governance, and resources, and coordinates the work of the council's four Scrutiny Panels.
