Salford City Council - Record of Decision (Cabinet)

Paul Dennett, the City Mayor, in consultation with Cabinet in
exercise of the powers contained within the City Council
Constitution do hereby
approve:

·        
The preferred option for future delivery of the
service for Young People as set out in the confidential Part 2
Report

·        
The delegation of authority to the Head of Legal
Services to execute any legal documents or contracts pertaining to
this approval
The Reasons are:
The
preferred option aligns with the Council’s priorities and.is
considered operationally, financially, and strategically
advantageous for the Council and for service users.
Options considered and rejected were:

Not
approving the preferred option set out in the Part 2 confidential
report.
Assessment of Risk:
Confidential Appendix 1 outlines the key risks and mitigation
measures. These have been assessed and are considered manageable.
The benefits to the Council and service users outweigh the
potential risks.
The source of funding is:
Funding will be met from existing team budgets.

Legal
advice has been provided by the Shared Legal Service and is
contained in the Part 2 Report
Financial Advice obtained:
Financial implications are set out in the Part 2
Report
