Salford City Council - Record of Decision

Mayor,  in exercise of the powers
contained within the City Council Constitution do hereby approve the recommendations to:
 

1.   
Note the net reduction to the capital programme of
£8.809m.

2.   
Note the reprofiles into 2026/27 of
£13.005m.

3.   
Note actual spend to the end of Quarter 2 of
£33.650m and the revised forecast of
£113.650m.
The Reasons are:

·        
The approved programme
as per the 2025/26 Council budget was £99.818m, with general
unsupported borrowing forecasted to be
£27.396m.

·        
Following 2024/25
quarter 3 outturn changes and changes in the quarter 1 report the
baseline for the quarter 2 capital programme was
£153.429m.  The actual spend to
the end of Quarter 2 of £33.650m and the revised forecast for
2025/26 is £113.650m.

·        
The details of the
further changes to the capital programme and expenditure to date in
Quarter 2 were included within the report presented to Cabinet on
25.11.25.
